Centrifugally-cast concrete poles with non-metallic reinforcement

چکیده
The article describes the testing of poles for electric power transmission lines, which are made centrifugally-cast concrete and ultra-high strength concrete, prestressed with Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer tendons (CFRP). presented results pole ultimate load suggest potential usage this construction product, particularly in aggressive environments high probability steel corrosion. Part tested had shear reinforcement form confined Glass (GFRP) grid, while one share samples no reinforcement, but matrix was strengthened synthetic macro fibres. A review is given on similar product testing, calculation methods, guidance provided further research.
